After the Telangana Arm struggle.. the biggest ever struggle that the state has ever seen is this “LAND STRUGGLE”. The land struggle triggered by CPI(M) is creating tremors to the ruling congress party. Their high handed hooligans have gone to the extent of hitting the people black and blue who are struggling for their just cause on land struggle. This is the right time to take up a discussion here on this issue.

THE BRUTAL KILLINGS OF UNARMED CIVILIANS IMPLEMENTING A CALL OF ACTION IN CONNECTION WITH THE LAND/DWELLING SITE STRUGGLE EXPOSES THE SYSTEM UNDER WHICH INDIAN PEOPLE ARE SUFFERRING SO LONG. THERE IS NO RIGHT ON THE PART OF THE POLICE TO SHOOT AND KILL PROTESTERS WHO ARE NOT ON THEIR OWN TRYING TO TAKE OUT ANY ONE’S LIFE OR PROPERTY. EVEN IN SUCH A CASE OF UNLAWFULL ASSEMBLY THE POLICE IS EXPECTED TO EXCERCISE RESTRAINT. THOSE MEN IN KAKHI OR KHADI WHOEVER ORDERED THESE KILLINGS AND WHOEVER EXECUTED IT SHALL BE BROUGHT TO TRIAL FOR MURDER AND PUNISHED. SIXTY YEARS BACK IN THE TELENGANA STRUGGLE THE PEOPLE HAD BEEN ARMED AND THEY WERE FACING THE MILITARY/POLICE WITH THEIR ARMS. TODAY SIXTY YEARS AFTER THE INDEPENDENCE THE PEOPLE ARE UNARMED AND THEY ARE CONDUCTING THEIR STRUGGLES PEACEFULLY AND STILL SHOT DEAD BY THE POLICE. THE ESSENSE OF FREEDOM IS THAT PEOPLE CANNOT ENFORCE THEIR WILL BUT THE RULERS ARE FREE TO SHOOT DOWN PEOPLE. AT LEAST THE BRITISH AND/OR NIZAM COULD BE CHASED OUT, BUT OUR RULERS BEING NATIVE ARE MUCH MORE VIRULENT. THIS SHALL END BY PEOPLE’S ACTION ALONE. WHILE WE SALUTE THE MARTYRS LET US RESOLVE TO SPREAD THE MASSAGE AND GATHER STRENGTH AGAINST SUCH AN INHUMAN SYSTEM.

It’s sad. I would’ve committed suicide if I had to wait for decades before being beaten up just because I’m asking for my share of Mother Earth. Here’s to the unsung heros of this great land.
